Toukley World of Bikes on the Central Coast are a registered NDIS provider and stock a range of living aids for use in the home. Our living aids appliances are from leading assistive technology suppliers Alphacare, For-de and HMR Healthcare. Their designs, based on years of experience and research, enable persons with reduced mobility to complete daily household tasks safely and independently. We also carry assisted seating equipment. Delivery of living aids to your home is available by request. Alternatively, you can come in to the store to select and purchase the most suitable aids for your home and living requirements.

Bathroom Accessories

Bathing, showering and toileting are vitally important daily living tasks which can become challenging for the elderly. We stock and sell bathroom accessories to ensure these tasks can be completed readily and with minimal risk of slipping. Our range includes shower chairs and stools and bath boards, all of which can be adjusted to suit an individual’s height and frame.

To prevent slipping and provide extra support whilst moving around in the bathroom, we sell bath safety rails, shower mats with suction cups and grab bars and rails which can be secured permanently or with suction cups. Our toileting range includes raised toilet seats as well as male and female urinals, splash guards and toilet surrounds. All appliances can be delivered to your home.

Cutlery, including knives, forks and spoons with large, soft handles enabling them to be used easily & without pain by people with arthritis in their hands & fingers
Easy-grip chiropodist scissors with long-looped handles & a long shank are ideal for those whose hands lack strength; the long shank reduces the need for bending, making it easy to trim toenails.
